NDAA Compliant

All our products are NDAA-TAA compliant.

WHAT IS NDAA?

In 2019, the U.S. Congress passed a law called HR5515 - John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019. The John McCain National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) restricts the use, purchase, or sale of certain brands of surveillance equipment for federal agencies. Not only are federal agencies prohibited from purchasing equipment from these brands, but they are also prohibited from doing business with contractors who use surveillance technology from backlisted products.

What is TAA Compliant?

Sunell products are TAA compliant because they are partly assembled or manufactured in the United States in a country designated by the TAA. A TAA-designated country is a country with which the U.S. has a trade agreement and is considered a reliable or acceptable source of sourcing.

Sunell Products

Sunell provides NDAA compliant products. The following Sunell cameras and network video recorders (NVRs) do not use or implement critical components or System-on-a-Chip (SOC) circuitry produced by NDAA-prohibited component suppliers, making them NDAA compliant.
